TAP Project -Tapping AIESEC Alumni Professional PotentialThe TAP project was founded in 2008 by 10 AIESEC alumni, who wanted to invest their professional expertise into developing, supporting and implementing social entrepreneurial projects and programmes aimed to make a positive impact on society. Through our experiences in AIESEC (www.aiesec.org) we are part of a global network of likeminded young people with leadership potential, an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong desire to make a difference, to contribute to something that benefits our world. The international AIESEC Alumni network is active in over 107 countries, and has an estimated number of over 800,000 alumni, all professionals taking active roles in corportations, governments and NGOs including other positive impact initiatives and ventures. The TAP project has become an independent social venture that offers access to expertise and networks in order to boost private sector development, engage in social partnerships and support social entrepreneurs and development organisations. Our mission is to empower young professionals all over the world to make a positive impact on their society through social entrepreneurial programmes, international cooperation and projects that will contribute towards the UN Millennium Development Goals.
